This trophy, presented by Mike Rees and David Quinney, is awarded annually to the County Player (first or second team) who scores the most points as detailed below.

Points can only be gained from Anglian League matches and the Eastern Counties Foursomes event which is held at Skegness during May.

Suffolk 1st, pictured above, entertained Lincolnshire at Rookery Park Golf Club. Lincolnshire held the upper hand after the morning foursomes leading 3-1, the Suffolk point earned by Chris soanes and Jack Cardy.

Injuries caused Suffolk to call up 2 late replacements in Luke Thompson and Sam Jaggard, both from the home club, and they aquitted themselves well losing 1 down to a birdie at the last.

The afternoon saw a fight back by Suffolk who won 5 of the 8 matches to earn a creditable draw with both Thompson and Jaggard winning their respective matches.

Ali Hall eagled the last, against his opponents birdie,to earn a 1 up win and square the match.

The second team were away against Lincolnshire 2nds at Stoke Rochford and slipped to a 8.5 to 3.5 defeat.

The morning saw Lincs take 3.5 from the 4 points available with Mark Fosker and Chris Bartrum securing a half.

There were wins in the afternoon from Chris Bartrum, Sam Renville and Adam Woodhead.
