4 Suffolk players qualified for the finals of the Brabazon Trophy which was played at The Alwoodley Golf Club, Leeds 30th May to 2nd June.

The competition was played over 72 holes with the top 60 and ties progressing after 2 rounds had been completed. Unfortunately Danny Western (Gorleston) and James Biggs (Diss) failed to make the cut.

Habebul Islam (Ipswich) had rounds of 73,72,69 and 71 for a 1 over par total of 285 which saw him finish tied 18th. Mony Scowsill (Aldeburgh) had 74,71,70 and 71 for a 2 over par total of 286 which left him tied 28th.

The title went to Ben Schmidt (Rotherham Golf Club) with 69,64,69,69 for a 13 under par total of 271.
