Suffolk Seniors travelled to John O'Gaunt Golf Club to take on Bedfordshire Seniors. There should have been five 9 hole foursomes matches in the morning, however, due to an administrative error Bedford only managed to put our 3 pairs. All. however, recorded wins as a result of which Suffolk lost the morning matches by 3 to 2.

The afternoon singles were halved leaving Bedfordshire winners by 8 games to 7.

The highlight of the afternoon was a hole in one at the par 3 ( 190 yards) 4th by James Gardiner (Bungay & Waveney Valley) which helped him towards a 6 & 5 victory.

Suffolk Seniors entertained the County Ladies seniors at Rushmere Golf Club. The match was played using Hambro scoring, on a fourball betterball match play basis and resulted in a win for the men by 2 holes.
