At Hintlesham Golf Club
Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd August 2010
(The maximum number of entrants will be 72)
(If the event is oversubscribed, there will be a ballot of amateurs by handicap)
Format 18 holes on Saturday
The leading 40 players and those tied for 40th place shall qualify for the second 36 holes on Sunday. All players within 6 shots of the leader will also qualify for the final 36 holes
The leading amateur in the competition will receive

ELIGIBILITY TO ENTER
AMATEUR: Must be of amateur status and a member of a club affiliated to the Suffolk Golf Union or have been born in Suffolk, in possession of a handicap of 6 or lower and not have taken part in a golf Championship for any other County Union or represented another County at golf in the preceding 365 days
PROFESSIONAL: must be a bona fide member of the Suffolk PGA and shall not have taken part in any golf Championship of any other County in the preceding 365 days

Closing date for entries Friday 30th July 2010
Competitors withdrawing within 48 hours of their published starting times will forfeit their entry fee.
The use of non-conforming clubs are not allowed in Suffolk Golf Union competitions. Distance only measuring devices are allowed.
Tailored shorts with white sports socks are allowed.
The Committee may refuse to accept an entry without stating a reason and its decision shall be final
