Suffolk Amateur Foursomes 2019 AM Rules

The Suffolk Golf Union has revised its Competition Rules for 2019 and players are strongly advised to carry a copy when competing in Suffolk Golf Union competitions

Specific Conditions of Entry for the Suffolk Amateur Foursomes Championship
a) The Championship will be held each year with the winners receiving the Macleod Challenge Cup and the Watts Salvers awarded to the runners-up.
b) The qualification for the above will be as for County Competitions.
c) The Championship will be decided by Medal Play over 36 holes off Scratch
d) Prizes will be awarded for the best morning, afternoon and all-day scratch scores and one all-day handicap score. No pair will receive more than one prize.
e) The Child Protection Form MUST be with the Championship Secretary before play.
f) A current list of entries received for all championships is displayed on the SGU website.


As a condition of entry, participants agree to the SGU rules and procedures.

A full start sheet and tee times will be sent to all Suffolk clubs and posted onto the SGU website shortly after the closing date.
