Thorpeness Golf Club held their Junior Open,the first Suffolk Order of Merit event of the year, on Monday 2nd May. The competition attracted a field of 52 players 10 of which were girls.

Harry Fricker, Ufford Park, took the Bell Cup with a superb round of 73, 5 shots clear of Habebul Islam, Ipswich,and Liam Cossey, Royal Norwich, who both carded 78's.

Megan Bailey, Bungay & Waveney Valley, returned the lowest girls score with 88.
