Aldeburgh Golf Club - Environmental Club of the year award

Two Suffolk Golf Clubs, Aldeburgh and Ipswich, featured in the five finalists for the annual Environmental Golf Club of the Year which recently took place at Harrogate. The award,which was won last year by Carnoustie, going to Aldeburgh.

Neil Sturman (Ipswich) and Mark Broughton (Aldeburgh) were also nominated for the Conservation Greenkeeper of the year award which was won by Phil Stain (Notts GC- Hollinwell)
