Northamptonshire Seniors v Suffolk Seniors
Suffolk Seniors began their East Anglian Seniors League campaign against Northamptonshire Seniors at Milton Golf Club, Peterborough, on Monday 20th May.
The morning foursomes saw Northamptonshire establish a 3-2 lead. Suffolk’s points scorers being Roger Taylor and Stephen Whymark who won 1 up whilst Steve Crosby and Stephen Duffety and Trevor Hellyer and Graham Shillings both halved their games.
In the afternoon singles Suffolk’s only wins came from Steve Crosby and Adrian Studd, Captain Kevin Brooks halving his game, leaving Northamptonshire winners by 10.5 to 4.5
