Ipswich Golf Club was the venue for their annual competition for the Silver Barrel, a Suffolk Order of Merit event, on Sunday 9th July.
The event attracted a field of 42 competitors.
Habebul Islam, a scratch player from the home club, had rounds of 67 and 72 for a 3 under par total of 139 which was the lowest gross total and also the lowest nett giving him the Silver Barrel trophy.
Other leading gross scores were Jack Phillips. also Ipswich 144, Sam Byford, Ipswich 148 Simon Bearman, Newton Green 148 and Jed Seeley, also Newton Green 149.
Simon had the second best nett with 140 from Charlie Taylor, Diss and Jack Phillips, Ipswich both on 142 and Russell Rayner, Ipswich 144.
