Skevington Salver and Bob Bagshaw Trophy
Suffolk Under 16's were in action at Wyboston Lakes Golf Club in the annual match against Essex, Norfolk and Bedfordshire for the Skevington Salver and Bob Bagshaw Trophy.
The event is played over 27 holes with the Skevington Trophy presented for the best individual gross score and the Bob Bagshaw Trophy to the team with the lowest score when adding the best 3 gross scores to the best 3 nett scores.
The Skevington Trophy went to Michael Gilbert, a plus 1 handicapper from Essex, with a score of 101 from Curtis Knipes, 2 handicap, also Essex, on 104. Jack Manley ,6 handicap from Bedfordshire, was 3rd on 107. Jack also achieved the best nett score with 98.
The Bob Bagshaw Trophy was won by Essex with a total of 631.5 from Norfolk 645.5, Suffolk 647 and Bedfordshire 665.5
Individual scores by Suffolk Boys- Habebul Islam 108, Harry Fricker 109, Harvey Watts 112, Sam Bingham 112,Liam Hansey 122 and Luke Tyler who shot 38 in the morning 9 holes but had to retire feeling unwell.
