The South East Counties Seniors Championship (Alan Hobson Trophy) was played at Wanstead Golf Club on the 20/21st September.

 64 players took part- 9 from Suffolk, the best of which was Stephen Whymark, Woodbridge, who shot 73 & 74 for a total of 147 which saw him finish in 8th place overall and tied first with Chris Reynolds in the 65-69 age group.

The overall winner was John Ambridge, Moor Park, with a level par 138 68-70
