The Duncan Masters
Fynn Valley Golf Club was the venue for the final qualifying competition in the Woodward Markwell series for The Race to Aldeburgh (Suffolk Order of Merit) on Sunday 23rd September. 16 players took part.
The event was reduced to 18 holes due to extremely bad weather conditions.
Calvin Sherwood, plus 1 from Rookery Park shot a 2 over par 72 to take the title from Wayne Clarke, 6 handicap from the home club with 74 and Mark Wilder, 6 handicap also from the home club, and Mark Duszynski, 4 handicap from Ipswich, who both carded 76's.
The lowest nett score was returned by Clarke with 74-6-68 from Wilder 76-6-70 and Duszynski 76-4-72 equaled by Terence Aldis, 16 handicap from the home club, with 88-16-72.
