Suffolk Amateur Championship

(The Todd Challenge Cup)

The Suffolk Amateur is a 36 singles scratch event normally played in late May or early June. Any player who is a member of an affiliated club in the Suffolk Golf Union can enter. A handicap ballot is held if entry is over subscribed. The winner is the player who return the lowest scratch score over 36 holes. There are also morning and afternoon prizes for scratch and nett as well as 36 hole nett. The top 16 players qualify for the Suffolk Amateur Matchplay.
