Suffolk Golf Union
The Suffolk Open Championship is a 36 singles scratch event normally played in August. It is open to any professional of an affiliated Suffolk club and all amateurs who are a member of an affiliated club in the Suffolk Golf Union can enter. A handicap ballot is held if entry is over subscribed. The winner is the player who return the lowest scratch score over 36 holes. There are also morning and afternoon prizes for scratch and nett as well as 36 hole nett. In addition the Easterbrook Salver is awarded to the highest placed amateur.
