4 suffok players took part in the Lagonda Trophy held at Gog Magog Golf Club, Cambridge, on the 17/18th May. The event was played over 72 holes with a cut being made after the first 36.
Day 1 saw James Biggs, Diss shoot 70/71. Calvin Sherwood, Rookery Park, 69/73 and Paul Waring, Felixstowe Ferry 74/74 to successfully make it through to day 2. However James Tyler, Ipswich failed to make the cut after rounds of 76/81
Waring added 2 sub par rounds of 65 and 69 to finish in 4th place with Sherwood adding 73 and 69 for 9th spot and Biggs 75 and 73 for 20th place.
The event was won by David Hague, Malton and Norton, who had rounds of 71,72,62 and 63 to win by 12 shots with a total of 268.
