The South East Regional under 16 Championship for the Skevington Salver was held at Eaton Golf Club on Wednesday 13th August. The Counties competing are Suffolk, Norfolk, Bedfordshire and Essex- 8 players per team playing 27 holes of medal. The Bob Bagshaw Trophy is presented to the team with the lowest total after adding together the best three gross scores and best three nett scores.
The morning 9 holes saw Ryan Smith of Bedfordshire record a 34 followed by Lewis Whiting, Suffolk with 35 and five other players on 37.
In the afternoon Jack Dyer of Essex shot a 4 under par 66 with Suffolk's Sam Byford a 68. Finley Heywood a 7 handicapper representing Norfolk had the best nett on 98.5.
The Bob Bagshaw Trophy for the winning team went to Essex with a combined score of 656.5 followed by Suffolk on 659.5, Norfolk 683.5 and Bedfordshire 687.
